I not only have hearing loss but also tinnitus, which for those of you who don’t know what that is. It is an annoying, sometimes debilitating ringing, chirping or buzzing in your ears or in your head. There is no cure for tinnitus but I have been told that one can learn to manage it. At the time my doctor told me that hearing aids would not help.

After years of struggling I decided I would seek the opinion of a Hearing Specialists and decided to give hearing aids a try. The hearing aids not only helped me hearing so much better but they also masked the noise I had in my head.

My life has changed dramatically. Now I look forward to dinner out at a Restaurant or any other social gathering and I can concentrate better than I have been able to in years since the noise in my head is not distracting me all the time. My friends and family have even commented on how much happier I am. I don’t know what took me so long as I should have done this sooner.
